Mission

The mission of the PT Project is to protect, promote and expand the ethical practice of physical therapy. By serving as a free quality resource, independent of any organization, the PT Project is dedicated to elevating the educational standards of the profession, promoting excellence in practice, and embracing the highest professional ethics and standards. The PT project is also committed to advancing research and educating the public to further enhance the future of the profession.

About the PT Project

The Physical Therapy (PT) Project is a unique initiative dedicated to the development and advancement of physical therapy professionals within the United States, as well as throughout the world.

The PT Project was developed to strengthen and improve the entire physical therapy industry by creating a resource where quality information, case studies and medical research is shared among those professionals within the industry that are dedicated to providing the best quality care for patients. This is about physical therapists teaching other physical therapists so that everyone, including the public, benefits from the expanded knowledge and information.

The physical therapy industry continues to move towards evidence based practices, which integrate the best available medical evidence with clinical expertise and use that knowledge and information to most effectively meet the values and goals of patients. The PT Project is a platform to disseminate evidence based research to quality professionals within the field and is a premier source for physical therapists across the globe to share their clinical expertise, formulate a basis for further clinical research, and enhance the profession.

We also seek to educate the public about the availability of exceptional physical therapists that are well qualified to diagnose and treat conditions and are dedicated to developing the highest levels of education, skills and knowledge. As with any profession, there are all levels of practitioners within the field of physical therapy and the PT Project is committed to increasing public awareness of what physical therapy can and should be about and what those professionals who are most dedicated to the profession can accomplish and offer patients.

The mission of the PT Project is to protect, promote and expand the ethical practice of physical therapy. By elevating the educational standards of the profession, advancing research, and embracing the highest professional and ethical standards, it offers a resource for those most dedicated to the profession and the high quality standards that the PT Project embraces.
