Volunteer Physical Therapists Needed in Haiti | Physicians for Peace
I have volunteered several times in Haiti – there is still such a great need to PTs to go down there – and Physicians for Peace is looking for PTs for several future missions tovolunteer at the Hanger Clinic at Albert Schweitzer Hospital in Deschapelles, Haiti.
The following mission dates are available:
Feb. 17 – March 5
March 3 – March 19
March 17 – April 2
March 31 – April 9
April 7 – April 23

Global Therapy Group needs PT and OT volunteers for 2 week rotations at The Haitian Community Hospital in Petionville (a suburb of Port au Prince). We have an outpt rehab facility treating amputees, CVAs, developmental disabilities, orthopedics and pediatrics since April 2010. We will begin work on a permanent rehabilitation facility and training Haitians in the coming months. We foresee the need for volunteer therapists for the next 2 years.
