Lee Scantalides

Lee is a Newton Massachusetts native and moved to New York in 2003 after graduating from University of Colorado at Boulder (CU) where he majored in Kinesiology and Applied Physiology.  While at CU, Lee was the Captain of the Taekwondo Team and he competed nationally and state wide for over 3 years.  Lee has been and continues to train in Martial arts for over 25 years.   He has trained in Uechi-Ryu Karate, Small Circle Japanese Ju-Jitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Boxing, and Taekwondo.  Lee currently holds a 4th Dan (degree) black belt in Taekwondo.  In addition to training in Taekwondo, Lee has been teaching Taekwondo to children as young as 3 and to adults at old as 72 for over 13 years. After moving to New York, Lee pursued a career in Personal Training where he is nationally certified personal trainer (CPT) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).  In 2005, Lee received his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification (CSCS) from the NSCA.  Starting in 2007, Lee was accepted into the Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program at Touro College in Manhattan and expected to graduate in 2010.
