Jamie Bovay
Jamie grew up in a small town in mid Missouri where he grew up enjoying outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and a multitude of sports. Jamie received his BS in Chemistry from Missouri State University and while working towards his prerequisites for PT school he decided he definitely needed more human interaction and the rewarding feeling that helping others would bring. Returning to school after a career as a chemist Jamie graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO.
Jamie enjoys seeing a variety of patients from young to not so young and from triathletes to couch potatoes. He received his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification to help give him an edge with athletes and has enjoyed working with all ranges of athletes from grade school to professional athletes. Jamie works with the patient to achieve their goals while trying to get them feel better as soon as possible. As the son of two teachers who taught him in high school Jamie has grown up with constant learning and tries to educate his patients about their conditions so that they can make the best decisions about their care. Jamie is a current member of the APTA, orthopedics section, and the sports section of the APTA. Currently he is working in Denver, Colorado and working towards his Manual Therapy Certification from the University of St. Augustine as well as taking manual courses through other companies.
